How CROs Find Eligible Volunteers Faster Without Compromising Safety
Eligibility matching, de-identified candidate previews and per-candidate unlocks: how modern CRO recruitment cuts screening time while keeping volunteer data protected.
Screening is the most expensive bottleneck in early-phase clinical research. CROs routinely screen three to five candidates for every one who doses, and much of that effort goes into basic eligibility checks that could happen before a volunteer ever visits the site.
Match before you screen
With a verified volunteer database, a CRO can enter a study's inclusion and exclusion criteria โ age range, BMI, gender, washout status โ and instantly see de-identified candidates who match. Previews show only a candidate ID, demographics and match score: no names, no contact details.
Full dossiers are unlocked per candidate, only with the volunteer's consent, so CROs pay for the candidates they actually want to screen rather than for database access they may never use.
Safety stays first
Faster matching never bypasses medical screening. Every candidate still goes through the CRO's own medical and background checks before dosing. The difference is that the obvious mismatches are filtered out before anyone books a screening slot.
